General CM Layout Prep Procedure

This is a list of steps for prepping supplies for yourself after Shamans in a Challenge Mode layout raid. These steps will start upon entering the farming room directly after Shamans. These steps can also be adapted to team raids, if prepping.

Note

This particular prep procedure relies on using the potion secondaries from Ice Demon, prepping a total of 8 Xeric’s Aids, 3 Revitalizations, and 1 Prayer Enhance . Ensure when starting prep that you have at least secondaries for those potions as well as the Buchu seeds dropped by Shamans in the room prior if you are planting Buchu yourself.

1. Take a spade from the pile of Old Tools.

2. Plant a Buchu seed (if team hasn’t planted for you).

Caution

If you are planting the Buchu seed, this guide assumes you have barbarian seed planting unlocked. If you dont, you should immediately stop the raid and get it you will have to pick up and drop a seed dibber as well.

3. Path to storage chest.

4. Drop all secondaries and spade.

5. Click Private on the storage chest, and Deposit-All

6. Pick up dropped secondaries

7. Click Pick-lots on the Gourd Tree.

8. Click Use on the Geyser, dropping 12 empty gourd vials as you make your way to it.

9. After filling up the remaining 12 gourd vials, path to grown Buchu plant and start harvesting, cleaning the herbs as you harvest

10. Path towards the next room that leads down to Vanguards, making your potions as you path there

11. Continue pathing towards the storage chest that is in the room, continuing to make whatever potions are needed.

12. When at the storage chest, drop leftover secondaries and spade on the floor to clear inventory, click Private on storage chest

13. Withdraw-all gear

14. Deposit 5 Xeric’s Aids into the storage chest, leaving 3 in the inventory

15. Withdraw remaining gear needed for upcoming rooms (lockpick, etc)

16. Make your way to Vanguards while reorganizing your inventory as desired
